The season is in full swing. Everything is happening at once at this time of year. We are already harvesting grain—the first barley of the season was combined this week—and the crew is now putting in the seed and transplants for winter crops.
It’s a delicate dance, keeping all those balls up in the air during this busy time. We are still working soil, planting, irrigating, cultivating, harvesting, and marketing. None of it could be done without the work and leadership of our stellar management team.
It’s been many a year since Nash Huber stopped farming solo. He now does his best to oversee the entire operation, to keep the diverse components working well together, but the real work is done by the incredibly diligent and creative group of young managers in the photo above.
