"Did You Know...?" Interactive Chalk Board for customers to write amazing facts about our planet, honoring its diversity and awesomeness.

Beach Clean-up, April 29 with Olympic Nature Experience (ONE)

In conjunction with the Washington CoastSavers, Olympic Nature Experience is hosting a beach clean up on April 29th from 9am to noon, at the head of the Dungeness Spit, 554 Voice of America Way. Come at any time and stay for as long as you like. A simple potluck snack and story will happen at the beach around noon.

Entrance to the Spit that day will be free. Be sure to bring your own food and water and a potluck snack to share if you're inspired. There will be a check-in station at the top of the Spit to give people directions as they make their way down.

We thank Washington CoastSavers for continuing to organize this incredible annual cleanup! This year, North Olympic Land Trust will also partner with Olympic Nature Experience, North Olympic Salmon Coalition and Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe's youth and teen program in this great event.

* Listen to KSQM Community Radio on 91.5 FM. Our own Kia Armstrong hosted “The Organic Farm Report” for a year, until her job as new mom got in the way! Listen to archived editions on the right as Kia spreads the word about what’s currently coming off local farms, where to find the best organic food around, and tips and recipe ideas for success in the kitchen.
