Nash’s Pork Buying Club started in 2012. For a $25 deposit, we add the customer’s name to our list of pork buying club members. You can sign up at Nash’s Farm Store or any of our farmers markets.
When 8-10 members have been assembled for either a standard share or a grilling share, they will be assigned as the owners of a market-ready pig. Nash’s will then schedule a custom slaughter for their pig and deliver it to Sunrise Meats in Port Angeles for cut-and-wrap.
Each member will receive a pork share of at least 16 pounds of finished cut, cured, wrapped, and fresh-frozen Nash’s pork. The members will receive all of their pig. The head, tail, organ meat, fat, and feet are not included unless members specifically ask for them.
Although we cannot guarantee that each member will receive exactly the same cuts, Nash’s will work closely with the butcher to ensure an equitable distribution of the cuts to each member.
Each member’s pork share will include the following cuts from 1 of the 2 options. Please state your preference when signing up.

When a member picks up a share from Nash’s Farm Store in Dungeness the balance will be owed, which can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. For pickup at one of our Peninsula markets, an additional $15 is charged (Seattle market pickup is $25) for delivery to that market. Pickup is required within one week of notification and can be scheduled with Sid at 360-681-7458. Approximately 2 weeks from slaughter to pickup is anticipated.
