2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup hazelnuts, chopped and toasted
Preheat the oven to 350.
Grease a loaf pan with melted butter.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, ginger, and salt.
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs.
Add the water, sugar, pumpkin puree, oil, and vanilla, mixing after each addition.
Now mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Add the hazelnuts and stir to combine.
Pour the batter into the pan and tap the sides to settle the batter.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the bread in the pan on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before removing from the pan.
Slice and serve.
